“Obstetricians can refer their patients to us for routine testing such as ultrasounds or genetic screening,” Dr. Gillen-Goldstein said. “Or, along with the patients’ OB/GYNs, we can co-manage more complex cases such as multiple gestation, diabetes, or maternal medical conditions, so patients can stay with and be delivered by their own doctors.”
A graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical School, Dr. Gillen-Goldstein completed a residency at Winthrop-University Hospital followed by a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at NYU. He has published dozens of textbook chapters and articles in peer-reviewed publications and lectured across the United States. A member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, he has a special interest in fetal diagnosis and therapy. He has been affiliated with Good Samaritan through his private practice, Madonna Perinatal Services, for 15 years. He resides in Oak Beach.
