(Long Island, NY) Kathryn Carney Cole was recently installed as the first female President of the Federal Bar Association’s E.D.N.Y. Chapter. Ms. Cole will serve a one-year term, with an option to renew her executive position for a second term.

Ms. Cole, a Garden City, NY resident, is counsel to the firm. She is a commercial litigator counseling large and small businesses, financial institutions and individuals on a range of business, real estate and contract/licensing matters. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law, magna cum laude, and her undergraduate degree from Colgate University.
The Federal Bar Association is dedicated to the advancement of the science of jurisprudence and to promoting the welfare, interests, education and professional development of attorneys involved in federal law. The E.D.N.Y. Chapter of the national organization was founded in 2007, and has grown to more than 100 members comprised of federal prosecutors, criminal defenders, practitioners from both private practice and public interest, as well as members of the Federal Judiciary.
