(New York, NY) Le Petit Salon de Musique is proud to play host on November 10 at 2 p.m. to a new chamber music ensemble that is winning rave reviews. Formed only last January, Bach & Forth has thrilled audiences with its program of Bach, Barsanti, Tann, Keevil, Ain and Haydn; and Le Petit Salon de Musique is honored to feature them in the second performance of its new season.
Bach & Forth consists of flautist Linda DiMartino Wetherill, oboist Terry Keevil, cellist Rebecca Perea, pianist Thomas Bohlert, and soprano Trudy Craney. They will perform works that include two Bach arias and a new song cycle composition by Noa Ain.

Flautist Linda DiMartino Wetherill has played with orchestras and ensembles in Italy, Germany, France and the U.S. She divides her time between Tuscany and New York, where she is Professor of World Music and Flute Studies at Adelphi University.
Terry Keevil, oboist and duduk player, has performed with the Bach Aria Group, Lazar Gosman’s Tchaikovsky Orchestra, and the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra and Choir of Sacred Music. He is currently a member of Hidden City, North Shore Pro Musica, and the Phoenix Trio.
Rebecca Perea, has performed as a cellist throughout the United States and Europe, highlighted by a tour of Hungary, Austria, and the former Yugoslavia. She also performs with rock bands and popular artists such as Natalie Cole and Bobby McFerrin and is a sought-after studio artist.
Pianist Thomas Bohlert has given many recitals in the greater New York area, and in Germany and is a composer of organ, choir, and handbell music. He is also a music writer for the East Hampton Star.
And soprano Trudy Craney is internationally known as a bel canto, baroque, and contemporary soprano in the fields of opera, oratorio, orchestral works and song. She premiered Noa Ain’s one-woman opera, Le Passion de Jean D’Arc, at the Angel Orensantz Foundation.
Tickets for this event are $20 at the door or $15 online at www.lepetitsalon.org. Tickets for seniors are $15 at the door or $10 online and for students are $5. Le Petit Salon de Musique is located at 380 Nicolls Rd., East Setauket, NY and is sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook (www.UUFSB.org), a non-profit religious organization whose mission includes support for social and economic justice.
