(West Islip, NY) Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center hosted “The First Annual Theresa Patnode Santmann Heart and Soul Symposium,” – a free seminar exploring healthy mind-body connection and its impact on chronic illness. Two hundred guests attended their choice of workshops covering aspects of mental and physical well-being.

Workshops were followed by lunch and keynote presentation by healthy humorist, Brad Nieder, MD, CSP, who blends health care humor with wellness advice and an uplifting message in his “Laughter Is The Best Medicine” Presentation. Babylon resident Theresa Patnode Santmann generously underwrote the conference.
