(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Legislator Bill Lindsay III was named the Suffolk County Police Conference’s Man of the Year at their annual gala last Saturday at Claudio’s Restaurant in Greenport.

The Suffolk County Police Conference is an organization of Professional Law Enforcement Officers from the State, County, Town, and Village Police Departments operating within Suffolk County.

“I’d like to thank all members of our police departments throughout Suffolk County for their support and for their outstanding commitment to preserving the safety of our residents, businesses, and our community,” said Lindsay III. “I am extremely humbled and honored to have been named Man of the Year and I look forward to continuing to fight for the hardworking men and women of law enforcement.”
