(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Legislator Bill Lindsay III ran with the legislative relay team during the Suffolk County Marathon/Half Marathon this past Sunday.

The race, a flat 26.2 mile course, was split between nine Suffolk County Legislators.

The race began at Heckscher State Park and proceeded through the downtowns of Oakdale, Sayville, Bayport, Blue Point and Patchogue. Proceeds from the event will benefit Suffolk County veterans.
