(Long Island, NY) The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Motor Vehicle accident that occurred on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 7:45 a.m. in Plainview.
According to detectives, Oscar Reyes-Contereras, 37, of Levittown was travelling eastbound on the Long Island Expressway at exit 45 when he lost control of his 2007 Ford Mustang and struck the guardrail.

The vehicle then re-entered the roadway at which time it was struck by a Tractor Trailer driven by a 45 year old male.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 8:42 a.m. by hospital personnel. The tractor trailer passed a brake and safety inspection at scene.
There is no criminality suspected at this time.
