(Long Island, NY) The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Levittown woman for a Burglary that occurred on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 6:55 p.m. in Levittown.
According to detectives, the owner of a Wantagh Avenue residence returned home and discovered someone had entered the house through a rear window and removed jewelry and cash. Second Precinct officers conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of Jennifer L. Fontana, 25, at her home. The jewelry was recovered.

Fontana is charged with Burglary 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
