(Long Island, NY) The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Long Beach man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon which occurred on Tuesday, December 23, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. in Levittown.

According to Narcotic/Vice Bureau Detectives, an undercover investigation was conducted with the assistance of the Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team at the Tri-County Flee Market located at 3401 Hempstead Turnpike. During the investigation Glenn S. Sable, 67, was operating his sales booth G.S. Cutlery at which time he sold a Switchblade Knife and Kung Fu stars to undercover detectives. Sable was placed under arrest at the scene.

As a result of the investigation the following items were recovered: 1 loaded Ruger 380 hand gun with 6 rounds, (62) sixty two Daggers, (5) five Cane Swords, (39) thirty-nine Metal Knuckles, (64) Kung Fu Stars, (6) Electronic Stun guns, (65) sixty five Gravity Knifes, (94) ninety four Switchblade Knifes, (11) eleven Chukka Sticks, (2) two Blackjacks, (3) Metal Knuckles and (4) Expandable Batons.

Sable is charged with (12) twelve counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
