(Riverhead, NY) In honor of the month of Thanksgiving, Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center is offering free admission to the Aquarium only for Riverhead township residents every Friday in November (11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, and 11/29/2013).
“We want to acknowledge and express gratitude to our hometown,” explains owner, Joe Petrocelli. “Offering free admission is just a small way of saying ‘thank you’ for the past 13 years.”
The special no-cost Aquarium admission rate applies to Town of Riverhead residents only, who must show proof of residency upon entry. Residents must reside in one of the following towns: Riverhead, Wading River, Jamesport, Aquebogue, Laurel, Calverton, Baiting Hallow, Northville, and parts of Manorville.
