(Garden City, NY) On October 13th, plastic surgeon and Huntington resident, Dr. Noël Natoli, showed her support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a big way.
While celebrating her honeymoon in New Zealand, the doctor took to the skies as she bravely dove from a plane at 15,000 feet in the air. Free falling for nearly 65 seconds, the plastic surgeon sported a pink jumpsuit as part of a month long promotion that donated proceeds to the Breast Cancer Foundation of New Zealand.

As a rising leader in the field of plastic surgery with a focus in natural breast reconstruction, Natoli was eager to participate in the campaign. “Queenstown, New Zealand is the adventure sports capital of the world; so while visiting I was curious about trying skydiving. Although I was terrified by the idea, when I found out that a portion of the proceeds were being donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation of New Zealand, I knew I had to do something that day that scared me. There is truly no other cause I’d rather support” began Natoli. “Aside from my work as a surgeon, I have had close family members affected by the disease. I understand the struggle and wanted to embrace the opportunity to give back.”
Dr. Natoli has been an associate at Long Island Plastic Group (LIPSG), the largest and longest-running private academic plastic surgical practice in the nation, since 2011. She is a member of both the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery and the Association of Women Surgeons.
