(Long Island, NY) Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) today joined the Federation of Organizations to honor Joan Strassberg as part of its Senior Volunteer Recognition Luncheon. Joan serves as a foster grandparent volunteer in the Huntington area.

“Joan is an outstanding asset to our community and a tireless supporter of our young people,” said Lupinacci. “The support and kindness she shares with those placed in her care is truly admirable. I want to thank Joan for her dedication and commend all the outstanding volunteers who work with the Federation to serve our community.”
The Federation of Organizations is an alliance of mental health advocacy groups. It develops programs that are designed to meet the needs of special populations, such as people recovering from mental illness, the homeless, low-income seniors and at-risk children.
