Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci speaks on state government with Mrs. Mellon’s Participation in Government class.
(Long Island, NY) Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) recently spoke to students in the 12th grade Participation in Government class at Huntington High School about the New York State Assembly, and state and local governments. Lupinacci encouraged the students to participate in local government, noting that he began his career as an intern in the office of the late Assemblyman Jim Conte.

Huntington High School Participation In Government
“I really enjoyed sharing some insight with students at Huntington High School. Too often young people don’t realize the active role which government plays in their day-to-day lives. However, it is important to engage our youth to take part in civic discussions and instill the critical value of participating in government at all levels. The students had some insightful questions and showed a keen awareness of the world around them,” said Lupinacci.
