(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a North Babylon bank on Tuesday, July 21.
A man entered Capital One, located at 1383 Deer Park Ave., at 11:45 a.m. and verbally demanded money from a teller. The teller complied with the man’s demands and the suspect fled on foot northbound through the parking lot.

The man was described as Hispanic, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, between 40 and 45 years old with a medium build. He was wearing shorts and a dark-colored T-shirt.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
