(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Sunday, April 3 at a Port Jefferson Station bank.
A man entered TD Bank, located at 86 Nesconset Highway, at 1:31 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demand and the man fled eastbound on Nesconset Highway in a light-colored, possibly silver, car.

The suspect, who had the lower half of his face covered with a multi-colored scarf, was described as white. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and black gloves.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
