(Long Island, NY) The Major Case Bureau reports the details of two Bank Robberies which occurred on Tuesday, August 04, 2015 in Rockville Centre and Oceanside.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, at 1:21 P.M a male Hispanic in his mid to late twenties, approximately 5’ 5” tall with a thin build wearing sunglasses, a white t-shirt, black jeans and black and white sneakers carrying a black drawstring bag entered the Citibank located at 297 Merrick Road. He presented a teller with a demand note at which time the teller complied giving him an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. There were 9 employees and 1 customer in the bank at the time of the incident. No injuries are reported.
At 1:40 P.M. the same man entered the Roslyn Savings Bank located at 3140 Long Beach Road in Oceanside and presented the teller a demand note. The teller complied giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. There were 6 employees and 1 customer in the bank at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
