(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole seafood from a Hauppauge store this month.
A man entered ShopRite, located at 335 Nesconset Highway, and stole more than 40 bags of frozen shrimp with a value of approximately $800 on October 5 at 2:30 p.m. The man fled in a waiting white Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The suspect was described as white, in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing white and blue framed sunglasses and a blue hooded sweatshirt with 1-800-Chimney printed on the back.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
