(Long Island, NY) Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 2:30 am in Franklin Square.
According to detectives, a male black subject entered the Sunoco gas station, 355 Franklin Avenue, displayed what was believed to be a handgun under a black cloth and demanded money from the stations clerk.

A struggle ensued between the two and after the subject struck the male clerk in the face, he reached onto the counter and stole the victim’s cell phone. The subject then fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim, who sustained minor injuries, described the subject as being 5’7’ tall, 20-25 years old with a thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie and a black mask covering his face.
