(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a Medford man on Sunday, September 20.
Ronald Hunte was driving his 2003 Buick Rendezvous northbound on William Floyd Parkway when his vehicle left the roadway, striking trees off the right shoulder, at approximately 11 a.m.

Hunte, 60, was transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson where he was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
