(Long Island, NY) The driver of a pickup truck who ran a red light and broadsided a car killing a 71 year old East Patchogue woman last April was sentenced today to up to 18 years in prison, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
Justin Klein of Medford was convicted of aggravated vehicular homicide, manslaughter in the second degree, possession of heroin, driving while under a combined influence of drugs, speeding, and running a red light.

On April 17 of last year, Klein was driving south a pickup truck on Sills Road in East Patchogue when he ran a red light at Gazzola Drive and crashed into a sedan driven by Camille Ricciardo.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Klein possessed a small amount of heroin.
