(Long Island, NY) Each year at Christmas time, employees of Mercy Medical Center “adopt” underprivileged families and donate new clothes, toys and gift cards that are distributed the week of Christmas. This year, 19 families were presented with Christmas cheer, including two that welcomed newborns in December—one set of twin boys and a baby girl.

In addition, during the month of December the staff at Mercy delivered more than 20 cases of food to St. Agnes Cathedral’s food pantry to benefit residents in need.
