(Woodhaven, N.Y.) – Assemblyman Mike Miller (D-Queens) interviewed with 7th and 8th graders from St. Thomas the Apostle on a film about Woodhaven’s rich history. Assemblyman Miller was one of the several elected officials interviewed by the students for the film titled “Woodhaven: Diverse Backgrounds United in One History”.

“It was a pleasure to work with this group of motivated and creative young students on this project.” Assemblyman Miller said. “They are truly very talented students and I am very eager to see the finished product.”
The students have collaborated with the Woodhaven Historical Society in production of this film and the film will premiere at the Cinemart Movie theatre on June 10th, 2013.
