(Long Island, NY) The Homicide Squad reports the details of a fatal vehicular accident that occurred on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Elmont.
According to Detectives, the female victim, Amaya D. George, 19, of Astoria was walking northbound across Dutch Broadway when she was struck by a white colored 2007 Lexus driven by Fabienne Turenne, of Elmont.

The victim sustained severe injuries and succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced at 9:30pm by Dr. Uston of North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital.
The accident is deemed non-criminal at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
