(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a single-car crash that killed a man in Mount Sinai on Sunday, March 15.
Edward Drumgole was driving a 2010 Honda Accord southbound on Chestnut Street when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. The vehicle spun around, hit a pole and came to rest on the front lawn of a residence on Chestnut Street at approximately 5 p.m.

Drumgole, 43, of Mount Sinai, was transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson by Port Jefferson Ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
