Nassau County Bar Association Free Community Seminar Wednesday, January 15
(Mineola, NY) Going through a divorce can be an emotional and harrowing experience, but it shouldn’t be a confusing process. Nassau residents can gain a better understanding of the divorce process in New York from a team of top legal professionals at a free community seminar, “How To Navigate Your Divorce Without a GPS,” to be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014, 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Nassau County Bar Association, located at the corner of 15th and West Streets, Mineola.
Noted matrimonial attorney Lee Rosenberg of Saltzman Chetkof & Rosenberg, Garden City, will present “A General Overview: The Ins and Outs of Divorce Law.” Honorable Stacy D. Bennett, Nassau County Family Court, will explain “The Judge’s Role in a Matrimonial Case.” Exploring “Mediation as an Alternative to or Part of Litigating a Divorce Case” will be prominent matrimonial mediator Harriette Steinberg, Westbury, and discussing “Why Children May Need Their Own Attorney and What That Entails,” is Attorney for the Child John Zenir, Mineola. The program is chaired and moderated by matrimonial attorney Deborah Kaminetzky, Cedarhurst.
