(Long Island, NY) Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Acting Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas C. Krumpter announce that between 7:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2015 and 7:00 AM Tuesday, May 26, 2015, the Nassau County Police Department affected 45 arrests for DWI.
The additional patrols were due in part by the New York State Grant “STOP DWI” campaign. In addition, Long Beach Police Department made 7 arrests and New York State Park Police made 4.
The Nassau County Police Department will continue to aggressively arrest those individuals who drink and drive.
