(Long Island, NY) The Homicide Squad reports the details of the arrest of a Seaford woman for Reckless Endangerment that occurred on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 3:45 a.m. in Seaford.
According to detectives, a male driver, 22 years of age, was driving a 2005 Nissan eastbound on Sunrise Highway when an argument ensued with a rear passenger, Leanne Gilzeane, 19. Gilzeane began to strike the driver causing him to lose control of the vehicle and strike a utility pole.

A female rear passenger 18, was ejected from the vehicle into the roadway and a male rear passenger 17, was partially ejected from the vehicle. They are both listed in critical condition at an area hospital. The male front passenger, 23, was treated and released from the hospital. Gilzeane and the driver have been admitted for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Gilzeane is charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree. She will be arraigned when medically practical. The investigation is ongoing.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
