Cops seize 43 pounds of weed, net three arrests
(Long Island, NY) 43 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value approximately $60,000 were nabbed in a major drug bust in Glen Cove this past Friday, resulting in three arrests, according to the Nassau County Police Department in a statement released this week.

Damion Cox, 31, of Queens, Voncliff Bish, 45, of Mount Vernon, Devon Wheatley, 51, of the Bronx were brought up on charges of felony marijuana possession in the bust, in which approximately $2,000 in cash was also seized, cops said.
Authorities reported that they had discovered that the drugs were being transported to a Mail Boxes, Etc. in Glen Cove. Detective Lieutenant John Nagle and Detective Brian Glennon stopped the suspects on Brewster Street just before 4 p.m. on Friday after observing them load a suspicious package into their vehicle, police said.
The arrest was made with the assistance of Nassau County K-9 units, according to reports.
Bail for the three suspects was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. They were due back in court on Tuesday.
