(Long Island, NY) The Second Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred in Plainview on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 2:00 am.
According to detectives, a 61 year old female victim heard a noise in her Maxine Avenue residence while watching television in her bedroom. The victim went down stairs and observed in her living room an unknown male subject standing. He is described as being white, 6’00” tall, dark clothing, dark knit hat, thin build. At this time the victim screamed causing the subject to run out of the house on foot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported. It was later determined that credit cards and an undisclosed amount of US Currency had been removed from the victim’s wallet that was left in her 2000 Mercedes Benz parked in her attached garage.
