(Manhasset, NY) The Nassau County Police Department is investigating an Attempted Burglary that occurred on February 7, 2014 at 6:38 PM in Manhasset.
According to Third Squad detectives, a 75 year old female victim was upstairs in her Chapel Road home when she heard a loud noise.

When she ran downstairs, the victim saw that someone had kicked in her front door. The subject (no description) fled the scene on foot westbound on Chapel Road. There were no proceeds or reported injuries.
