(Long Island, NY) First Squad detectives are investigating incidents of Graffiti that occurred during the overnight and early morning hours of Friday, May 15, 2015, in Wantagh.
According to detectives, First Precinct officers, around 7:00 am, responded to a 911 call for graffiti that was spray painted to garbage cans belonging to a Beltagh Avenue residence.

A subsequent investigation revealed that similar graffiti, involving racial, gang and sexual related “tags” had been spray painted onto residential and public properties along Beltagh Avenue and continued to the walking bridge heading towards Wantagh High School.
Additional “tags” of the same nature and means were also reported at Mepham High School on Camp Avenue in Bellmore.
