(Long Island, NY) The Nassau County Police Department are investigating a Robbery that occurred today, February 24, 2014 at 10:25 am in Carle Place.
According to Third Squad detectives, a male black subject entered Life uniforms, 249 Old Country Road, approached the female store manager and pointed a black handgun at her. After demanding she open the register, the subject removed an undisclosed about of money and placed it into a blue pillowcase.
The Nassau County Police Department are investigating a Robbery that occurred today, February 24, 2014 at 10:25 am in Carle Place. The victim described the subject as being in his 30’s with a medium build. He was wearing a navy blue hoodie, tan pants, white sneakers and a black ski mask.
After opening her pocketbook, the subject then removed her wallet which contained credit cards and personal papers in the name of the victim. He then forced the manager into a back room where he proceeded to handcuff her and remove her engagement ring as well as her wedding band. He then fled the store through the rear door.
The victim, who sustained minor contusions to her wrists, described the subject as being in his 30’s with a medium build. He was wearing a navy blue hoodie, tan pants, white sneakers and a black ski mask.
