(Long Island, NY) The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 4:38 pm in New Hyde Park.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a male white subject entered the Valley National Bank, located at 699 Hillside Avenue, approached the teller and produced a note demanding money.

The 41 year old female victim complied and the subject fled on foot eastbound on Hillside Avenue with an undetermined amount of US currency.
There were five (5) employees and no customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no reported injuries.
The subject is described as a male white, medium build, approximately 6’1” tall, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black baseball hat, dark grey scarf across his face, black gloves, black cargo pants and black shoes.
