(Long Island, NY) Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a serious vehicular accident, involving a motorcycle, that occurred in Rockville Centre on Friday, 11/06/15 at 10:44 P.M.
According to detectives, a Suzuki motorcycle, operated by a male driver, 31, was traveling northbound on Peninsula Blvd. when he was in collision with a 2003 Toyota Camry, operated by a female driver, 68, who was turning into the southbound entrance of Mercy Hospital.

Both operators were transported to local hospitals. The motorcyclist suffered serious trauma to the head and torso and is listed in critical condition. The female driver suffered minor injuries and is listed in stable condition.
Detectives report no apparent criminality. Both vehicles were impounded for brake and safety inspections. The investigation is ongoing.
