(Long Island, NY) The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in New Cassel on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 9:53 pm.
According to detectives, a 41 year old male victim was walking behind Park Avenue School located at 998 Park Avenue when two unknown males approached each displaying a handgun and demanding cash. Subject one punched the victim in the left side of his face that caused painful swelling. The other subject hit the victim with his handgun in the face causing a contusion to the left eye and abrasions. At the time an undisclosed amount of US Currency was removed from the victim’s wallet and a cell phone was also removed.

The subjects then fled on foot running toward Elderberry Road. A Nassau County Police Ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital and treated for his injuries. The subjects are described as male, unknown race, black masks, black attire, black gloves, and black shoes.
