(Long Island, NY) Second Squad detectives are investigating an auto accident, in which a pedestrian was struck, that occurred in Hicksville on Saturday, 10/17/15 at 7:00 P.M.
According to detectives, a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling southbound on S. Broadway/Rave St. struck a pedestrian, who was attempting to cross.

Hicksville Fire Department ambulance transported the victim, who suffered head trauma and internal injuries, to Nassau County Medical Center where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
Second Squad detectives are advising that the 24-year-old-victim, of Hicksville has been identified by a family member on Sunday, 10/18/15. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Second Squad at 516-573-6253.
Detectives report no apparent criminality at this time.
