(Jericho, NY) The Board of Trustees of the National Association of Mothers’ Centers (NAMC) is pleased to announce that Alison LaFerlita is taking over as the organization’s new Executive Director. Ms. LaFerlita, a Long Beach resident, will be taking the reins following the retirement of Linda Lisi Juergens, who has had a 35 year legacy of leadership at the NAMC.

Ms. LaFerlita has served as an ED for several non-profits since 1996 and has been a member of the Mothers Center since 2009. She holds a B.A. degree in Fine Arts and specializes in membership development, event logistics, capacity building, fundraising and donor relations.
Ms. LaFerlita’s long history of management and administrative expertise will enable the NAMC to maintain and expand our 38 years of support to mothers and families. Her tenure will advance our tradition of programs that explore the areas of motherhood, work/life and the economic impact of caregiving.
