(Long Island, NY) The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a Central Islip man at 12:45am on Friday, November 20, 2015 for a crime that occurred in Massapequa.
According to Detectives, defendant William B. Neal, 30, of Central Islip on June 18, 2015 at approximately 10:45am did enter Xsport Fitness located at 1 Sunrise Mall in Massapequa. The defendant had been previously notified by Xsport management that he was no longer allowed on Xsport properties.

Defendant Neal entered the property using a false name, entered a tanning booth room and hid behind the equipment. When the female victim, 52, entered the room and tanning bed, the defendant came out of hiding and attempted to remove the victim’s personal property.
When the victim confronted the defendant, he pushed her down and she sustained a large contusion and substantial pain to her right upper arm; the defendant fled the building in an unknown direction.
On Friday, November 20, 2015 at 12:45am Detectives responded to Planet Fitness located at 1040 South Broadway in Hicksville and placed the defendant under arrest without incident.
Defendant William B. Neal is charged with Assault, Burglary, Petit Larceny and Criminal Trespass. He will be arraigned on Friday, November 20, 2015 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
