(Long Island, NY) The Third Squad reports the arrest of a New Cassel woman on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 4:55pm for Grand Larceny.
According to Detectives, while employed as a front desk clerk at the Yes We Can Community Center located at 141 Garden Street New Cassel defendant Barbara Jean, 37, between April 7, 2015 and May 22, 2015 did remove without the authority to do so, three deposit envelopes containing the cash of the day from the community center safe.

The proceeds were an undetermined amount of US currency.
Defendant Barbara Jean is charged with Grand Larceny and will be arraigned on Friday, June 5, 2015 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
