New York Auto Show Open Now Through Sunday, April 3
(Long Island, NY) New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo officially opened the 116-year old New York International Automobile Show, the largest publicly-attended auto show in North America, on Saturday, March 26 to record crowds.

I am proud to kick-off this year’s show and I encourage New Yorkers and visitors alike to take advantage of this can’t-miss opportunity,” Governor Cuomo said.

Also on Opening Day, Governor Cuomo presented the keys of a brand new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid to wounded U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Jeffrey Hackett. The RAV4 was donated by Toyota and has been equipped with special steering controls and pedals to accommodate Sergeant Hackett’s injuries.

More than one million visitors are expected to attend the ten-day event. The show features nearly one thousand of the world’s latest automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, and concept cars at the convention center.
