(Long Island, NY) The Second Squad reports the arrests of two Farmingdale men for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 8:55 pm in Farmingdale.
According to detectives, Adam Rosenthal (driver), 17, and Cory Gloe (passenger), 19, while traveling on Fallwood Parkway near Roberts Street, were pulled over by CIRRT officers for speeding. During the car stop, officers observed a “Gravity Knife” inside the vehicle as well as a small quantity of marihuana. Both occupants were placed under arrest without incident.

Rosenthal is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree and Criminal Possession of Marihuana 5th Degree. Gloe is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree.
Rosenthal was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in First District Court, Hempstead on April 1, 2016.
Gloe will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on March 16, 2016.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
