History:
The medical and treatment facility is part of a continued commitment by PBMC Health to develop a system of comprehensive care in Suffolk County, which continues to realize an increase in population. Once considered primarily a vacation destination and location for seasonal residents, the East End communities of Riverhead, North Fork and South Fork villages are rapidly becoming the permanent home to many Long Islanders. As people migrate to Long Island’s wine region and beach communities, including the remaining open farmland, the need for healthcare becomes vital. With the new Gertrude and Louis Feil Camps for Ambulatory Care, PBMC Health continues to distinguish itself as a top provider of medical services in an expanding part of the region.
