(Long Island, NY) The Homicide Squad is investigating a fatal pedestrian struck vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 9:07 p.m. in Lynbrook.
According to detectives, an unidentified male was crossing from the north to south side of Merrick Road when he was struck by an unknown vehicle in front of 130 Merrick Road.

The vehicle which was travelling eastbound continued without stopping. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
