(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police have arrested a Patchogue man for robbing TD Bank in Medford on November 30.
Utilizing video surveillance as well as Crime Stopper tips, Pattern Crime Unit detectives identified the suspect as Steven Alejandria and he was subsequently arrested on December 2.

The subject entered TD Bank, located at 1806 Route 112, at 9:58 a.m. on December 2 and passed a note that threatened violence and demanded cash. The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer.
Alejandria was charged with Robbery 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.
Alejandria, 35, is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on December 3.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
