(Long Island, NY) First Squad detectives report the details of an arrest for stalking and endangering the welfare of a child, which occurred in Baldwin on Tuesday, 10/06/15 at 4:16 P.M.
According to detectives, Philip Malfettone, 71, of Baldwin, was observed by witnesses in his parked car on St. Lukes Place watching children and touching himself. Witnesses have seen the defendant parked on the block several times in the past. First Precinct police officers responded to the scene, where the defendant was placed under arrest.

Malfettone is being charged with four counts of Stalking 4th Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Friday, October 09, 2015 in First District Court, Hempstead.
