(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police arrested a man who stabbed and killed his mother’s live-in boyfriend in Holbrook on Saturday, October 31.
Rakien Hall and Oscar Green were engaged in an altercation in the apartment they shared in Holbrook, when Hall stabbed Green in the neck at approximately 5:55 p.m. last night. Hall fled the apartment on foot. This morning at approximately 8:50 a.m. Sixth Precinct officers located and arrested Hall.

Green, 47, was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives charged Hall, 31, with Manslaughter 1st Degree. Hall will be held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on November 2.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
