(Long Island, NY) Major Case Bureau detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 8:40 am in Valley Stream.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a male employee of Charlene’s Stationary located at 343 North Central Avenue observed a male black subject entering the store with gloves and his face covered. When the subject walked behind the counter towards the register, the victim exited the rear of the store and notified police.

The subject removed undetermined amount of US currency and fled northbound on North Central Avenue on a bicycle.
The subject is described as being 6’ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black and white sneakers, a scarf covering his face and clear gloves.
No injuries were reported.
