(Long Island, NY) The Second Squad reports the details of an arrest for Assault that occurred on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM in South Farmingdale.
According to detectives, Second Precinct Officers responded to a call for a fight in progress at a Main Street residence. Upon arrival, police found a 61 year old male victim bleeding from his nose, mouth and head. The victim stated that Raymond Foreman, 47, of South Farmingdale had attacked and beat him with a cement type object.

The defendant was placed under arrest at the scene without further incident. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Defendant Foreman is being charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at First District Court, Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
