(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a single-car crash that killed a woman in Center Moriches on Saturday, October 3.
Erin Reed was driving her 2010 Nissan Altima southbound on Wading River Road when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree at approximately 8:15 a.m.

Reed, 26, was transported by Center Moriches Ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where she was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752.
