(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred on Friday, July 10, at a bank in Port Jefferson Station.
A man entered the HSBC Bank, located at 574 Jefferson Shopping Plaza, at approximately 2:35 p.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demand and the suspect fled on foot southbound on Route 112.

The suspect was described as white, 6 feet tall, approximately 30-years-old, skinny, unshaven, with red hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and red baseball cap.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
